Before your spray tan session:
Do not use any other self tanning products for 7 days before your treatment.
If you need to wax or shave do this 24 to 48 hours before your spray tan session depending on your skin sensitivity.
You must exfoliate your skin 24 to 48 hours before your spray tan session paying particular attention to your legs knee’s hands elbow’s ankles and feet to ensure an even tan.
Do not wear any perfume deodorant or creams to your spray tan session as they can affect the final result of you spray tan.
Remove all make and jewellery before your spay tan.
What to wear during and after your spray tan session:
You can be sprayed wearing your swimsuit, bikini, underwear or if you prefer an all over tan - with nothing on.
You will need loose clothing and sandals to wear after your spray tan.
What to expect during your spray tan session:
Most importantly remember I am here to help you relax and enjoy your treatment.
I will ask you to wear removable sticky feet. These are designed to protect your feet from staining.
Next I will prepare your skin with Fake Bake oil free skin moisturiser ensuring you an even beautiful tan.
Your Fake Bake spray tan will then be applied in just ten minutes and you will be left with a beautiful sun kissed glow.
The colour you will see is a guide colour and will wash off after your tan has developed, leaving you with a perfect golden tan.
Directly after your spray tan session:
You will be asked to stand for a few minutes before dressing to allow the tan to absorb.
The tan will take at least eight hours to develop, overnight if possible.
Until then keep skin dry, avoid washing yours hands.
Do not apply any creams over the developing tan.
Avoid activities that make you perspire.
Be aware that toothpaste can strip the colour from around your mouth while your tan is developing.
After your tan has developed:
Rinse off the colour guide until the water runs clear then using a mild soap gently wash yourself.
Use a moisturiser daily to prolong the life of your tan.
Avoid creams with (AHA’S) as they will strip the colour.
Avoid swimming pools as the chlorine fades the tan.
Waxing and shaving will fade the tan.
Exfoliate gently every couple of days to ensure the tan fades evenly and to prepare your skin for your next spray tan.

It is not advisable to have a spray tan if you…
Are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Have open cuts or wounds.
Suffer from eczema or psoriasis.
